How to create a WhatsApp link with a prepared message
Create a WhatsApp contact link with WikiURL, check its international number and prepared message, and keep private information out of public URLs.

Prepare your contact details
A contact link must open the correct number. Use the number you chose to publish for that purpose; do not copy an example phone number without replacing it with your own.
WhatsApp documents wa.me links with the complete international number and optional URL-encoded text. Preparing text does not send it.
Generate the link in WikiURL
Open WhatsApp Links. Enter the phone with its international prefix, following the form's instruction not to add the initial 00. Write a short message if you want to guide the conversation.
Press Generate and review Your link. The example only shows the format: replace NUMERO_INTERNACIONAL with a number you own or are authorized to publish.

Test your real version before putting it on your website. Confirm the conversation belongs to the intended contact and the text appears correctly. The person opening it decides whether to send.
Check accents, punctuation, and spaces. WikiURL encodes text in the URL; reviewing it in the app helps detect a wrong phone number or unclear message.
Use a specific call to action
Choose a label explaining the contact's purpose: requesting a quote, checking availability, or asking for information. Do not promise an immediate response if you cannot provide it.
Prepared text adds context, but do not include passwords, management tokens, or private data in a public URL. Anyone receiving or copying the link can read that text.
Review when contact details change
Save the published version and check its placements when the number or message purpose changes.
This generator builds a link; it neither creates a WhatsApp account nor confirms the number exists. Those checks belong to the real contact and destination app.
Punctuation and accents: a result you can check
Load the tool's example and generate the link. +34 600 000 000 is illustrative: replace it with your number before publishing or opening a conversation. The message includes a comma, an opening question mark, and an accented word to check its contents survive.
The generator keeps only phone digits in the wa.me path and encodes the message in text. Spaces may appear as + and other characters as % sequences. The expected decoded text is Hola, ¿tenéis menú hoy?, even though the address does not display every character literally.
Teléfono de ejemplo: +34 600 000 000
Mensaje: Hola, ¿tenéis menú hoy?
https://wa.me/34600000000?text=Hola%2C+%C2%BFten%C3%A9is+men%C3%BA+hoy%3FCheck the contact without sending a message
With your real number, open the link on a phone where WhatsApp is available. Review recipient and prepared text before sending anything. Repeat on a computer if the button will be used there: signing in or a compatible app may be needed.
Generating an address does not check that the number has a WhatsApp account or is the intended recipient. If opening fails, check international number, then WhatsApp availability, then text. An empty message is valid too: the contact opens and the person writes what they wish.
Contact button or QR: keep a clean public version
Use the generated URL as a button destination with a clear label, such as asking about the menu on WhatsApp. For a QR, generate from that same URL and check the recipient after reading. Neither option automatically sends the message.
Do not preload keys, private order numbers, or sensitive data. Anyone with the link can read or forward it. For several languages, prepare separate messages and review every variation, retaining the same contact number if that is your service.
