URL checker

Check a URL’s response and redirects.

This check does not guarantee that a site is free of fraud or malware.

Try sample data

These examples are illustrative. Replace the address or phone number before sharing. Loading the data does not submit the form or open the destination.

Input data

url: https://example.org/

Distinguish availability from safety

The checker sends a request from the WikiURL server. A website may respond differently to your browser because of location, authentication, bot protection or server rules. A blocked response alone does not prove the page has disappeared.

Compare the final address with the domain you expected. A successful HTTP response only confirms that response at the time of the test: it does not certify the owner, content or absence of fraud.

When should I check an address again?

After changing its destination, before launching a campaign or when you notice an error. Respect the request limit shown by the tool and avoid unnecessary repeated checks of short links, which can affect their statistics.
