Keep a clear margin around the code and avoid stretching or cropping it. Test the actual size and contrast with several phones, especially for printed menus, posters or cards.
Why might a QR code stop opening a page?
The image may be difficult to scan, or the destination may be unavailable. If it contains a paused, deleted or expired short link, it still depends on that state. Check both the printed QR and the URL availability.
